La historia se centra en tres personajes en crisis: Monica, viuda y madre de un ninio de nueve anios, hace todo lo posible por mantener a flote su hogar. Don Chema es un conductor de transporte publico que recibe la noticia de que su hijo padece una enfermedad incurable. Y donia Cata es una anciana que siente que su mision en esta vida ha terminado. Cuando estos personajes sienten una gran necesidad de acudir a la iglesia, sus vidas no solo se cruzan, sino que cambian para siempre. Bajo la tutela de angeles guardianes, comprenderan el verdadero significado de la misa, de la lucha constante entre el Bien y el Mal y del triunfo de la fe y la esperanza.
